Growing on clay structures

Now I knew it was possible to 3D print clay and to grow on clay I decided to combine the two techniques and attempt to grow onto my clay structures.

The experiment was successful, you can see the roots which have grown through cracks in the clay structure acting like an extra structural support for the dense walls.
